Media with a focus on Screen-Writing. I want to eventually work my way up to writing for Film or/and Television but I’m only one year out of college so I still have a very long ways to go before I hopefully achieve some version of my dream. It’s a tough part of the business to break into but I’ve had pretty great mentors/professors/internships so that helps.

I have such a problem with secondhand embarrassment that if I’m watching something and a character does something that I find even the littlest bit embarrassing I have to either mute the TV or plug my ears and avert my eyes. It makes me really anxious.

“When Rainn’s on the exercise ball bouncing up and down, and I come over and I stab it with the scissors. In every other take we did, I stabbed it and it just slowly goes down. And the camera angle was that he just slowly ducked behind the thing and it was incredible. On the last take they were like “do one more.” And I remember going over and I went “boom”! And I must have hit the seam or something. And it exploded. He hit the ground as hard as I’ve ever seen a human hit the ground. I remember when I thought people in their 20’s were adults. Now all of my friends are in their 20’s and everybody is just kind of fumbling around bumping into each other, trying to figure out where the free food is……
so that’s pretty much what I’m expecting to experience for the next like 10 years.
