Yeah, I don’t like her but her job doesn’t threaten us right now. She won’t have any influence on the outcome of the show. I hope she tones down the tweeting though, she always ends up fighting with fans.

I stopped paying attention to her when season 4 was starting so I only hear about her when she’s mentioned on here. Her poor excuse for getting in childish argument with fans was that it was part of her job as a blogger so she won’t be able to hide behind that anymore and she’ll have to be alot more professional as a employee of the cw so I still expect to roll my eyes when people mention her tweets but they will more than likely have to be wayyyy more professional as a Writer’s Assistant.

And I’m not saying she’s always wrong because fans are rude sometimes but she comes across as incredibly unprofessional in the way she handles herself as a professional responding to a bunch of rabid 15yr olds on twitter fangirls and that will probably have to be heavily toned down in respect to when she’s talking about and answering questions about the show. She won’t be able to comment on the show and spoilers as much anymore since it’s not part of her job and she could get in trouble for it which is a really good thing in terms of her inserting her own bias and pissing fans off.

Carina won’t be writing the show…..

Writers assistants are like any other assistants in the industry. They do the grunt work for the writers. Meaning they don’t actually write stories they just do the typing and look for mistakes in the script before they go out ect.. It’s actually a really good position to have if you want to eventually write one day and you have a chance to pitch idea’s ( but it’s very rare) but you’re NOT writing or coming up with story-lines or story arc’s in the writers room.

I’m not a big fan of Carina but we can calm down, she’s not a writer…… there is a chance she can be promoted down the line but right now she’s not a writer in any sense of the word. Writers on the writing team on any show already have to fight for title credit and to get their stories heard so Carina definitely is not going to be writing the show next fall. It’s a good opportunity for her though.
